- Create varied spaces for focus, collaboration, and training
- Integrate technology for seamless virtual meeting support
- Improve acoustic comfort across the entire floor
Approach
Hyphn developed a comprehensive design strategy centered on choice, flexibility, and employee experience. The team introduced a diverse mix of workspace types—from private offices to open workstations and collaborative hubs—and incorporated ergonomic solutions, advanced A/V integration, and full-floor sound masking. Each decision supported the foundation’s goal of creating a future-ready environment that reflects modern work practices.
Outcomes & Impact
The transformed workspace now provides employees with greater freedom in how they work, fosters improved collaboration, and elevates comfort through ergonomic design. The project has become a model for other SDSU departments seeking to modernize their environments and support hybrid work strategies.
