Approach

Hyphn’s approach centered on close collaboration with Savills, Ware Malcomb, and the broader project team. Because Savills was highly involved in shaping the look and feel of the space, Hyphn worked through focused design conversations to translate the client’s preferences, cultural cues, and workplace goals into coordinated furniture and styling solutions.

The team prioritized forward-facing and public areas to maximize impact, balancing a calm, polished aesthetic with distinctive details that made the office feel personal. Fringe elements, including vintage records, San Diego-inspired pieces, hospitality wares, curated shelving, greenery, and art, helped complete the space.

Outcomes & Impact

The completed office gives Savills a polished, welcoming workplace that supports employees, strengthens client interactions, and reflects the level of service the firm delivers in the San Diego market. The final environment feels cohesive, design-forward, and distinctly connected to the culture of the team.

All projects require trust, and ours was well placed in the Hyphn team. Working with them was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Their collaborative approach, expertise and creativity shone through in every detail — from furniture selection to the curated Fringe styling elements that elevated the overall design.
