Fortis Construction’s relocation to the Water Tower Building wasn’t just about moving offices—it was an opportunity to redefine their workspace to reflect their culture and enhance the employee experience. Moving from their facility near Providence Park, Fortis envisioned a collaborative, sustainable, and modern space, supporting user workstyles and future growth. Hyphn partnered with Fortis to bring this vision to life, delivering a comprehensive solution on time and within budget.
- Purposeful Design
The new office space was designed with flexibility in mind. Fortis embraced an open-plan layout, favoring a mix of assigned desks and hotelling spaces. The design also included collaborative zones, a state-of-the-art training room, and upgraded amenities to support teamwork and professional growth. - Sustainability Focus
The project integrated WELL certification principles, emphasizing sustainable furnishings and efficient use of resources. Existing furniture and tech was reused where possible, reducing waste and supporting Fortis' environmental goals. - Technology Integration
The technology ecosystem supports flexible work arrangements and future scalability. One-touch interfaces, room schedulers, and advanced AV systems make scheduling and conducting meetings with in-person and remote participants seamless. - Collaborative Approach
With a tight deadline and ambitious scope, Hyphn employed proactive planning and close coordination with trade partners to meet Fortis' move-in date. Strategic scheduling and early material procurement were critical to the project’s success.
