DLR Group approached Hyphn to work with them on their new Downtown Portland office because of a great existing relationship and faith in their ability to get the job done right. In addition, DLR Group & Hyphn have worked together on some large projects in the city over the past few years. This fact grew a relationship of solid communication and a true partnership.

Results

The new DLR Group Office in Downtown Portland is a thing of beauty created through collaboration between two true partners. DLR Group had clear goals that they wanted to complete when the project started: create an office with a working studio feel, inspired by their collegiate studios, that promotes collaboration between people but with professionalism at its heart. Settings and workspaces are strategically placed to ensure that you immediately feel that the space was created with cooperation in mind when you enter the DLR Group office.

Whether looking at the space with its intended or unintended outcomes, it creates an atmosphere where employees can feel safe, collaborative, and professional. In addition, the design of the space allows for settings to be rearranged with little effort to create different modes of work.
